Currently I am residing in New England and training to be a surgeon. I graduated from a University of Texas Medical School in 2005 with an M.D. and Texas A&M University in 2000 with a B.S. in Psychology. Originally I was born in Dubuque, Iowa; moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota; and spent my formative years in Dallas, Texas. If I'm playing a sport, it most probably is golf. I love the Dallas Stars, Cowboys, Mavericks, and Texas Rangers. Now you know my life.

It would be good of me to recap the 24-hours from Saturday at 4 O’clock to Sunday at 4 O’clock. There is much of which I must speak. On Saturday Todd and April threw me in the sweet, sweet Toyota Prius (the hybrid car that gets around 45 miles to the gallon) and we hopped on the highway headed for the thriving metropolis of Waco, Texas. This city is home to the man formerly known as David Koresh, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, The Texas Rangers Museum, The Dr. Pepper Museum, The Circle, and even the Waco Water Park. It's all there.

Upon arriving after our 2.5 hour road trip, we parked in someone's front lawn and walked to the football stadium called Floyd Casey Stadium. I saw several of the Dallas A&M Club people at the game including Bob, Brendan, Travis, and Neil. I also saw an old friend from Aggie Fish Club named Melissa McNally, but now she's married. It was very nice to see everyone. Then we watched a football game. Baylor kept the score close the entire game. Reggie McNeal threw his first interception of the season. Baylor's offense was moving the ball with ease. Add those together and it spells overtime. A&M's first drive ended in touchdown plus extra point. Baylor's first drive ended in touchdown plus 2 point conversion. That means Baylor wins. And geez those Baylor fans were excited. They ran onto the field and started tearing down the goal posts like they just won the national championship. They hadn't beat A&M since 1985, so I guess they had to be excited about something. It was a good game. Too bad my first football game in Waco ended in defeat, but what can I do? So Todd, April, and I got in the car and drove to College Station. We thought we'd go to Northgate to drown our sorrows.

We dropped Todd and April's stuff off at the Memorial Student Center's Hotel (wow, they stayed in the MSC Hotel), then Carolyn and David picked us up. Originally we had planned to hit every bar in Northgate, but we were sort of depressed so we went straight to The Chicken. We gathered a few pitchers and found a table out on the patio overlooking the throngs of people milling around Northgate. It was the day before Halloween, so most everyone was dressed up. This was sort of amusing for us, and our seat at the entrance of The Chicken made documenting the costumes very easy. So we sat at the table reminiscing of the good old days of college, met a bunch of new friends, and drank lots of beer. There was one group who was especially fun. They were huddled in the corner, so I sent Todd to scope out the situation. After he secured permission from his girlfriend to hit on other girls, Todd made the 10 foot trip to the other girls. After much talking, I motioned the ladies over to the table for some conversation. It turns out that they all went to Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, which is a private Catholic School. I let them know I went to Pearce, and the ball rolled from there. One of the girls was called Noel, and she wanted to be a physician's assistant. Hopefully by the end of the night I convinced her to be a physician instead, because physicians can have families and raise kids just like PA's can. So the talking continued, we were rejoined by Carolyn and David, and later we all went home. Back at David's house, I of course got to play with Paris. She's such a cute doggie. Then I fell asleep.

Finally Sunday rolled around. Carolyn, Todd, April, and I had lunch at Cafe Excel. Then we went to Southgate for some quick shopping followed by a trip to The George H.W. Bush Presidential Museum and Library. It was my second trip to visit, and I'm still amazed by all there is to see. President Bush (or 41 as we call him in Texas), lead a remarkable life. I really can't do him justice in words, so hopefully the images will tell the story.

And that was the Baylor/Halloween weekend.

I see you have met the infamous David Baquero. I stumbled upon your blogs inadvertently by what may be a simple twist of fate. Perhaps it was meant that I should warn you. I'm very sorry to have about this man, but it is exceedingly important that you know who he really is. You were trying to convey your perception of him as being
"magical" or wise beyond real. Much as I'm sure you really want to believe it,I'm afraid he is not real
in the sense that he is a modern day Don Quixote, that is, a legend in his own mind and so convinced is he of this incredible life he describes that it is easy for others to believe him. His real name is David Baquero. That may be one of the few truths he has told you. David looks for unsuspectig victims such as yourself, who are successful, who have resources and connections to take advantage of. Please understand that, as kind, charming and refined as he may appear, there is a very dark side to him. I see that he has infatuated you with his stories (most of which are complete fabrications). How is he so convincing? David Baquero is a pathological liar and one of the best con artists alive. He is very mentally ill and I am not saying this figuratively, or to be cruel.
He has never met Andre Segovia, he never played in any symphony, he never lived in the jungle or whatever other stories he has told you. David will attempt to gain the empathy of people who are in a position to help him. I'm sorry to tell you that, this is no doubt the basis for him to befriend you. Once you attempt to delve into his past, you will know. I am certain that you
have never spoken to any of his family members (very good people by the way). If you had, then you would know the truth. He has had a only a grammar school education, though he quite easily convinces learned, professional people that he has earned a P.H.D by his eloquent manner of speech. However, he spends his life covering his lies and hiding from anyone who has found him out, anyone who may reveal his lies. He behaves most humbly in the presence of those he wishes to manipulate, but humble and modest is actually quite the opposite of who he is. I know this is extremely hard for you to believe. I can have
a dozen or more people testify to what I'm saying. Again, I'm not telling you all of this to be cruel. On the contrary,I thought it may be helpful to you, for eventually you will get burned by David and not in a small way. Try to do a check on his background. You'll find it almost impossible to accomplish. His mother is not a reliable source, as she covers for all of his lies. She is not exactly the picture of mental stability herself. The rest of his family has pretty much disowned him and many are frightened of him. He has scammed many people out of much money and property. He has had numerous marriages, each of which he will claim that he was a victim of, but in realty has caused much suffering for many women, for any who dared to become involved with him.
I have witnessed David (who insists on being called Maestro as part of the mystique to his image), I have witnessed how carefully and cunningly he gains the trust of certain individuals such as yourself
and then skillfully conjures situations which create a deep feeling of empathy from that individual. He would have you believe that you are his closest comrade, when in reality, he has already prepared to severe any ties to you when it appears that you may be onto him or when you seem to have
nothing material left to offer or no
possibilities of networking through you to get hold of his next victim.
Sound incredible? I know David from way back. You do not have to take my word for it however. Just start asking him questions and see what happens. I apologize that I cannot reveal my identity, but I seriously doubt that anyone who knows the "real" David wants to him to know their whereabouts. When angered, he is highly unpredictable. Someday you will understand. I know what you are feeling right now, that this is some cruel joke by someone wanting vengeance. It is not so. Please do yourself a favor and have the courage to stop more people from being hurt and scammed. David needs psychological help, but he is far beyond accepting that. Be careful!!!
