Yesterday evening at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Kayla and I joined pretty much the entire Angel/Hill? family to watch a Theatre Under the Stars production of Cole Porter's Anything Goes. Without spending a day on family trees, it should be noted that the Angel's are the family Kayla's dad remarried into. Since his name is Schnell and Mary Kaye's name is Angel, they are referred to as Schnangels (or something like that). So the Schnangels went to the Hobby Center last night to watch one of the Angels (Katie Clarke, Kayla's step-cousin) perform. I must say I really enjoyed the production. There was plenty of comedy, the singing was very good, and the dance bits were outstanding. It was almost too much eye candy to digest, but overall very nice. It was also fun to see Katie perform, as it is her first professional production, and her whole family was there to support her. I got to meet her after the show, and she really seems like a great gal. It was a very fun evening. Then Kayla and I went to Katz's deli and had a pastrami Ruben and some fried pickles. YUM!
So back to this someone who is begging to be in this here blog. Remarkably she is yet another Angel who lives in St. Louis, Missouri. Her name is Ashley Angel and is the daughter of Mary Kaye (who has become quite popular it seems on mytommyroshek.com). Ashley is an Aggie (which gets her bonus points) who is very ambitious and has followed her job to St. Louis where she will eventually become the CEO of GMAC. I spoke with this person when Kayla and I were in Philadelphia, again when she had A LOT TO DRINK at her aunt Stacy's birthday party in the Woodlands, on the speaker phone at the big down home country dinner a few nights ago, and again last night when she was upset that there was no mention of ASHLEY ANGEL OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. It's very interesting how similar she is to TODD FOX, who also constantly pesters me about being in the blog. How are you TODD FOX? Where have you been pal? Anywho, Ashley has already become my favorite step-sister-in-law due to her vibrant personality and four phone conversations. I look forward to meeting her in the hopefully near future.
Finally Carolyn has requested that an updated picture of THE DOOOOOGS be placed on this here blog. I am happy to oblige.
