Stars couldn't close it out in San Jose last night. They fell in OT 3-2 after leading 2-0 in the 2nd. That's very uncharacteristic. I didn't get to see very much of the game but caught the 3rd period and overtime. Play heads back to Dallas on Sunday night. I hope they close it out then or there will be some serious trouble. Only 2 teams have ever won a hockey series after trailing 3-0. Let's hope this doesn't happen to San Jose.
I just realized I have some pictures from Wayne's (pronounced W-eye-ne's) bachelor party/fishin' trip. It was an excellent time. We went to Crystal Bay to fish. The night before we all hung out. I had a chance to meet many of the Angel clan I hadn't met yet. They're all good guys. A buddy of the family named Heath made 2 inch New York strips. They might be the best strips I've ever had. (His parents owned a butcher shop, and Heath cut the strips himself). We rest of the time was spent shooting the shit. W-eye-ne didn't catch any fish, but hopefully he enjoyed being on the water. Actually it was somewhat of a disaster, as one of the boats lost its engine and Buddy lost his wedding ring. I caught a catfish, but this is a saltwater catfish which aren't tasty like the freshwater kind. Joe (a buddy of W-eye-ne and Ashley's from work) caught the only speckled trout. Anyway, I will place some of the pictures here.
It's What I Do
You seriously want to look at this stuff??
About Me
Currently I am residing in New England and training to be a surgeon. I graduated from a University of Texas Medical School in 2005 with an M.D. and Texas A&M University in 2000 with a B.S. in Psychology. Originally I was born in Dubuque, Iowa; moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota; and spent my formative years in Dallas, Texas. If I'm playing a sport, it most probably is golf. I love the Dallas Stars, Cowboys, Mavericks, and Texas Rangers. Now you know my life.

This is my wife with her new boyfriend Hot Rod. She had a chance to meet him at the Houston Raceway Park (managed/owned by my step-brother-in-law Seth). Antron Brown won that race, then proceeded to win in Florida. Pretty sweet. All the wedding pictures are on Buddy's camera, so I decided to put this on here instead.

I've arrived in H-Town! Well I arrived yesterday. I must say it is absolutely fantastic to be home. I haven't been to Houston for quite some time (maybe a year?), so I'm very pleased to be back here. Vacation starts today. Two weeks of no beeper, no nurses calling, no attendings giving me shit about stuff I had nothing to do with. Kayla and I are both in Wayne (pronounced Wine) and Ashley's weddin' which is Saturday in H-Town. Apparently there is a bachelor party tonight at a house on Galveston Bay, then we're going fishin' tomorrow morning at the butt crack. I hear there will be some drinking involved. I will participate whole heartedly. Today is a free day which involves picking up my tux and running other errands. We brought Miss Texas with us on the flight. Delta charged us $200 EACH WAY to ship her. They didn't give her any of the food we told them to in Atlanta. I wonder if they even gave her water, because she drank two bottles the minute she arrived in Houston. She didn't pee at the airport either, which means she was very dehydrated from her 7.5 hours in a cage. I felt horrible for her. I think I'm going to yell at someone or someones at Delta for being douche bags. However, we got her rehydrated, and she's doing wonderfully today. I hope we don't have to go through this again next week.
The Stars lost last night. I got to see the end of the 2nd period and the third. They didn't look at that bad really, so I'm not in panic mode. They are up 3-1 in the series and travel back to San Jose for game 5 on Friday. I hope they close it out then. No need to draw this thing out.
That's all for now. I'm going to document this trip avec les photos. It ought to be fun.
