What Facebook said about me today when taking the quiz "What car are you?"

You’ve done it your way and you know what works and what doesn't. You are tested, tried, and true. You are passionate and practical and can appreciate the finer things in life. You are an athlete at heart, a leader, and a competitor. Where others focus on strength, you focus on agility and durability. While others fall out due to injuries and breakdowns, you keep on going strong. You also keep practicality in mind and try to live you life as balanced as possible . . . of course, the excitement of competition and chasing your passions seem to take lead.

I'm blushing, thanks Facebook :)

So I was walking the dog this evening, and I looked up at the stars. We do this all the time of course. But geez, those stars must be really, really, really big for us to see them. Think about it. The sun isn't all that big in the sky, and it's so close it actually keeps us in orbit. The stars aren't really all that small in the sky, and they are millions of miles away. It's also cool, as the little photons hitting our eyes were spewed from those stars hundreds or thousands of years ago. So we're seeing the universe as it was a long time ago.

Pretty neat.

Yes I'm a nerd.

And now on to something completely different. Shout out to:

Had the first grilling event of the spring. Several peeps came over. Menu included bratwurst, hamburger, chicken, salad, baked beans, grilled asparagus, grilled yellow squash, grilled zucchini, wine, beer, margarita, smores. Then it rained, but not for too long. The pool looks good. So does the backyard. I need to do some landscaping, but not too much. Things are continuously blooming. It comes in waves.

Miss Texas looks good. She hopped in the 55 degree pool again today. Quick swim. She got all of her shots, pills, this week. The vet tells me she is doing well. I'm pleased about this.

I love this Netflix thing, cause you can watch movies and such over the internets. Imagine that, I can watch a movie over the internets. My how far we've come. I completed watching all of The Office episodes from the first four seasons. I've since moved on to 30 Rock, which I seriously wanted to take a look at but never found the time. The first several episodes were very smart, as I would expect from Tina Fey. However, the episode "Black Tie" was hysterical. Paul Rubens performed! He had such cute little arms and legs. If I would have been drinking water while watching, I would have spit it out everywhere. That reminds me of a scene in the "Band Trek: The Last Generation" movie I was making with Mike Leffingwell in 8th grade. (That would have been seventeen years ago. SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO!) Anyway, there was a scene where Mike (Playing Captain Smirk), had to spit something out after hearing something appalling. Unfortunately it was food (I think cake), which is quite hard to spit out. So I made him drink water with the cake, which only made it worse. So basically instead of projectile spitting and looking really funny, he vomited a glob of water and cake and looking really gross.

We had a lot of fun in junior high. Good times.

I so want that suit.
